An anthropologist by training, the Australia-born Bell heads Intel’s Corporate Sensing and Insights team. Her role is to think about what the next five-to-10 years of the world will look like, and help prepare the company for an unpredictable technological future. An inquiring mind seems only appropriate.
Since she left her tenure-track position at Stanford University for Intel in 1998, attitudes have slowly changed in Silicon Valley, Bell told Mashable Australia. “There’s much more of a willingness to think about who’s going to use this stuff and why,” she said. “And not just to say: ‘We will build it, and people will love it’.” Read more…
